Home Makers Buckbee

Buckbee

J. H Buckbee of New York America rumoured to have had the largest factory and output at its peak making ten thousand banjos each year! From around 1860 to mid to late 1890’s and made banjos for Dobson and JW Wallis. Buckbee label not found so perhaps the firm didn’t market instruments under their own name other than a JHB on the side of the heel.
